Kwaw Kese is pleading with the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led NPP government to legalize scamming because the party is now a key architect of the crime.
The rapper believes that if the President can defraud his own people and steal large sums of money during a pandemic, he should make it legal so that Ghanaian youth can participate.
The rapper was reacting to the purchase of vaccines, which has become extremely problematic as the government appears to have underserved the people.

In a tweet, he stated, “I believe Ghana’s government should legalize scamming.” How can an entire government defraud its citizens? Sputnik vaccines cost $10, while the government charges $26 per vaccine. Nana Akufo Addo’s Twitter handle is @NAkufoAddo. Mr. President, how come? “Who gets the sixteen dollars?”
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry explained that it paid $19 for the vaccines rather than $10 because it could not buy them directly from the Russian government.
According to other reports, the Ministry has also contracted a Ghanaian middleman who is selling the vaccines for $26 per vaccine.
