The Technical University Teachers Association (TUTAG) has declared a partial strike that will last indefinitely.
According to a statement, the action will go into effect on Monday, June 14.
TUTAG claims that the government has failed to address their concerns about working conditions and other issues.

“TUTAG has reminded the government and the National Labour Commission on these issues on numerous occasions, but has never received an acknowledgement.
“The TUTAG members’ condition of service expired in 2016.
“As a result, TUTAG is left with no choice but to declare an indefinite partial strike beginning Monday, June 14th, 2021,” the statement said.
