Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, the former Ghana HIV/AIDS ambassador shed tears today as she recalled how Ghana used her as an HIV/AIDS ambassador without pay to raise funds.
She described how the Ghanaian government, led by John Mahama, forced her to travel to schools and state functions to educate people about HIV/AIDS, only to be dumped without pay.
Joyce Dzidzor cried as she spoke about the stigma she had to face in life after deciding not to hide her sexual orientation but instead to use herself to educate the public.
She tested positive for HIV at the age of 19, and her life has been hell since, not because she is sick, but because Ghana used and dumped her despite the stigma.
In what appeared to be a farewell note, she stated that this could be her final video because she is a dead person living.
