Ghanaian actress and Lawyer Sandra Ankobiah has registered her plea on the jail term given Rosemond Brown also known as Akuapem polo by the Accra Circuit court which is presided over by Her Lordship Christiana Cann regarding her publication of nude picture with her seven year old son.
Though Akuapem Poloo pleaded guilty but was pressed with three charges as offense; publication of unacceptable materials, portrayal of attitude that undermines other person’s privacy and involving in domestic violence which is conduct that might detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
According to Lawyer Sandra Ankobiah who took to her tweeter page, said “she has a whole lot to make in regard to the judgement” but was afraid she will have been misquoted by some other.
This is what she wrote on tweeter;
“I guess this is about setting precedent. It will be interesting to see how the posting of “nudity” on social media will be viewed going forward. I need to read full judgement”. She said
She went on with her next posting which speaks about “non-custodial sentencing” and again she added that for the avoidance of doubt, she was tried and convicted by a court of competence jurisdiction. I’m only asking questions about sentencing reforms.
