Actor-turned-politician John Dumelo has asked Ghana’s government to invest in other tourism activities. People are tired of going to Cape Coast Castle and Wli Waterfalls all the time, according to him.
He believes that investing in other such activities will provide a significant boost to the industry, which is a major source of foreign exchange.

John Dumelo stated this in response to the Ghana Tourism Authority’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Jones Aruna Nelson, who stated, “We are encouraging Ghanaians to make a conscious effort to travel.”
“What are we doing to invest in new tourism sites?” asked John Dumelo. We can’t go to Cape Coast Castle and Wli Falls any longer. Is there a plan to invest in new Toursim activities such as sky diving, hot air balloon rides, zip lines, and so on?”
