If precautions are not taken, people will soon be publicly sacrificing parents, siblings, and friends in order to make money through any available means. The issues of two 16-year-old boys murdering a 10-year-old boy to perform money rituals should rouse the government and other stakeholders concerned with preserving our morals and cultural values in the country.
According to Bismark Kpobi, who was quoted in a Facebook post by the iDO GH News team, Daily advertisements by Mallams, priests, and juju people boasting of their abilities to double money and create luxuries for unsuspecting victims must be stopped immediately, before our children and youth become involved in such activities. We are all aware that there are no money rituals that do not include blood sacrifice before, during, or after. Many vehicular accidents on our major highways cannot be separated from the blood money used to purchase those vehicles, resulting in evil spirits hunting for blood in return.
Mr. Kpobi therefore calling on the government and the media committee in parliament to, as a matter of urgency, revoke the licenses of all those media stations who in their quest to make profits assist these juju men and women in advertising their activities. How long will it take us before we come to our conscious state that such evil adverts and programs aiding the criminal activities happening all around us in Ghana?
Partners murdering their partners, children murdering or denying their parents, all because evil demonic prophets or Juju men tell them their problems are the result of those people. If nothing else, let us take a cue from Tanzania’s late president, the late Paul Magufuli, who sanitized their media activities in order to combat vices in his country.
The numerous mushroom TV and radio stations involved in such activities must be worked on now, before our future leaders are all destroyed because they are looking for a quick way to make money in order to live a luxurious lifestyle. How can a normal young person under the age of 40 want to live?
