Bridget Otoo, an outspoken Ghanaian broadcaster and entrepreneur, has shot the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1, as she joins the several others on Twitter calling for the release of Akuapem Poloo from police custody.
Her activities follow previous claims that Akuapem Poloo had been convicted by the Accra Circuit Court.

Poloo was convicted after pleading guilty to all three charges in court on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, before Judge Christina Cann.
Her crime is the suspected rape of her son with her nakedness in the year 2020, when the child was celebrating his 7th birthday.

After the verdict was made public, there was a significant social media uproar for her release because many people felt the court’s decision was too severe.

Among all the reactions, Bridget Otoo took to Twitter to call for her release, citing the NAM1 case as a big reason why Akuapem Poloo should be released.
Poloo, she believes, deserves better if NAM1 is out there posting things on social media despite being portrayed by the state as a scammer and causing the loss of many lives.
Her tweet sighted by iDO GH News reads: “NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram post. A man whose actions has killed people, rendered thousands jobless and some are at the point of suicide.”
